We’ll also address expectations around academic and talk about recommended approaches and considerations to shape a strategy that works for your student.

Event 2: Supporting College Health

Mental and physical health are crucial for college students’ overall success, but often are hard to manage. Parents can struggle to know how to support them from afar. 

​

In this event we will explore what’s normal and what’s concerning and highlight practical ways that parents can lend support. 

​

Guest speaker: Mia Nosanow, MA, LP, author of The College Student’s Guide to Mental Health: Essential Wellness Strategies for Flourishing in College, contributor to Psychology Today, and former mental health counselor at Macalester College.

​Event 3: Homecomings & transitions

Breaks during college are often the most joyous time for families...and sometimes the most tense. We'll prep for a jolly winter break with grown kids this year and have lots of laughter together in the process.
